A commerical freenlance photogpraher came across Kotobuki-cho in Yokohama known for the rough skid rows in Japan similar to Sanya in Tokyo and Kamagasaki in Osaka. His encournters with people in this twon changed his life. He became a day labor and started communicating with them more deeply.
