This book is a collection of photographs presented on the occasion of an exhibition in 2015. The title is a reference to the tempera painting 'Christina's World' painted in 1948 by the artist Andrew Wyeth.
It is Hido's first book to focus on a single model, and brings out the multifaceted appeal of Khrystyna, a typical female model, and weaves together changing and seductive portraits and road trip photographs to tell the story of a woman's emotions and the strangeness of the suburban street.
