Behind the Scenes is a photographic diary of a life inside fashion: from 2013 to 2019, Sofia Malamute recorded her work trips between the fashion weeks and the six collections a year, between shows and parties, moments with family and friends. Portraits, still lifes, and landscapes captured with a point-and-shoot give us back the intimacy and instantaneousness of moments experienced during the boom of Instagram, when no one was printing, when countless images posted on social media were lost, archived or deleted. So, Sofia Malamute kept them aside, preserving a record of that time.
