the book presents the musical notation transcription of Miles Davis's improvisations on record. There will be an app that does this now but in the 70's this would have required some seriously concentrated listening by Terumasa Hino to transcribe all the parts of the band. The book itself is illustrated throughout with photographs of Miles.
